Teen Relationships Discussed at PTSA Board Meeting, Feb. 16 at 7pm
Want to know more about teen dating and how to discuss healthy relationships with your child? February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month, and we're giving over the next PTSA General Board Meeting on Thursday, Feb. 16 for a discussion led by educators from New Beginnings, an organization that promotes awareness and action to end domestic violence. From teen dating, to helpful hints about how to discuss healthy and unhealthy relationships of all types, the curriculum is relevant for everyone -- whether your kids are dating now, in the future, or may never date at all.

Pi/Pie Night is Back This Year!
After a hiatus due to Covid, Hamilton's Annual Pi Night is back on Tuesday, 3/14! It's an all-school event focused on celebrating math and eating pie! We'll have a pie eating contest, a pi memorization contest, and more. Contact PTSA events coordinator Rachel Feldstein (rach215@gmail.com) to get involved and help make this event a mathematically delicious success!

Community Conversation about Sexual Harassment in Middle Schools, Feb. 6
Eckstein Middle School PTSA would like to invite area middle schools, including HIMS, to a discussion with Seattle school board members Chandra Hampson, Liza Rankin and Luna Crone-Baron, as well as SPS Health Educator Lisa Love.
Topics will include Seattle Public Schools Policy, FLASH curriculum, and How Families, Schools and Communities can partner to raise awareness of and prevent sexual harassment on campus.
If you have a question you would like addressed in the conversation, please email it to president@ecksteineaglesptsa.org by Friday at 6pm. There will be a brief Q&A period following the presentations. Families can attend in person at Eckstein Middle School auditorium or by zoom.

Hawks Ultimate Club Gx Team Clinic, Feb. 10
The Hawks Ultimate Club is gearing up for the spring season! We'd like to invite any 6-8th grade, female or non-binary students interested in playing Ultimate to join us for a clinic on Friday, February 10th from 4pm- 5:30pm. All skill levels welcome! No previous experience needed. We'll meet at Wallingford Playfield and walk to Lower Woodland Field 2.

Hawks Ultimate Team Tryouts Coming Soon!
Registration for Hamilton Ultimate Spring Tryouts is open on the Hawks Ultimate website! Tryouts schedule is as follows:
- 8th grade on Tuesday, Feb. 14 from 4pm-6pm at Wallingford Playfield
- 6th grade on Wednesday, Feb. 15 from 2:45pm-4:45pm at Wallingford Playfield
- 7th grade on Thursday, Feb. 16 from 4pm-6pm at Wallingford Playfield

North Central Little League
Registration is open for baseball, softball, and Tee-ball with North Central Little League (NCLL). NCLL serves kids ages 5-16 and all levels of experience, who want to play ball. Playing ball is a great way to make friends, build resilience, get outside, and have a lot of fun doing it. Scholarships are available.
Seattle Ultimate
