Sincere thanks to the Prince Philip Trust Fund for their £1,000 cheque gratefully received by the WCH team.

The money will be used for the ongoing refurbishments so we hope you all take pleasure in knowing it is your support that drives the pubs development forward for which we are truly grateful. If you have yet to collect your items, don’t forget to head over to The Swan to collect them and pay!

QUIZ WINNERS

Congratulations to our quiz winners, Simple Minds. First time winners after a tie break in an exciting competition. There is one more opportunity to win before Christmas.  Martin will be back again on Wed 22 Dec with some festive brain teasers

WINTER FAYRE AND LIVING ADVENT

Fri 3 Dec saw a full house at The Swan as everyone enjoyed the Green Room School Winter Fayre and the Living Advent calendar performance. Take a look here to see more about this wonderful evening. Also take a look at the Christmas decorations adorning the pub.

GR6 UPDATE

Green Room's final week before the Christmas break is always festive, fun and full of tradition. On Mon they took to the rink at Windsor On Ice displaying their skills on skates. Tue they were back in the classroom presenting their GRThink knowledge shares, with topics ranging between the four stroke engine cycle, kickboxing and the dystopian film In Time. Wed saw their traditional Japanese Christmas lunch (a sizable order from KFC, for those who were asking) and end of term awards, where lots of wonderful achievements were recognised and praised. Final day saw a visit to Windsor Castle for a delightful wander around the State Apartments, before the staff put on their annual pantomime. This year a glittering adaptation of Beauty & The Beast held at The Old Court arts centre.

BUILDING UPDATE

The Weekday Warriors have taken a well deserved break for much of this week as 'Lino Len' and his team have been onsite laying flooring in The Kitchen, both store rooms and the corridor leading to/from the Bar. Another very significant step forward with sincere thanks to everyone involved.

So much happening you need to see it to believe it!
