She will be ready and waiting with her sewing machine. If you have clothes that need repairing bring them down and let Josie work her magic. There will be no charge but a donation to our refurbishments would be much appreciated.

CHILDREN IN NEED

Final total raised for BBC Children In Need is an amazing £1,440.36. A sincere thank you to everyone involved.

QUIZ WINNERS

Enjoying the benefits of the outside heaters our winners this week, Haven't a Clue-A, were too hot to handle. Winning with 40 points despite the round called 'sex' not being quite what was advertised! Martin will be back again with more challenges on Wed 9 Dec.

FATHER CHRISTMAS

December is fast approaching so that means Father Christmas is on his way. He will be making special visits to The Swan 10-12 noon on Sat 11 and Sat 18 Dec. Early booking via pub.manager@theswanwindsor.co.uk is essential to avoid disappointment. £5 per child with a present for everyone.

GR6 UPDATE

GR6 have had a busy week, preparing for the Winter Fayre as well as continuing to work on their various other projects. One group of students are launching an online charity clothing sale using the Depop app, with funds raised going to our continued support of students in the village of Mankoadze in Ghana.

Epic Thursday was Thanksgiving-themed this week, with soup made from our famous pumpkins going down a treat with customers. Elliot, pupil of the week, is launching his own motor repair business - if you need an old lawnmower or other garden machinery serviced or fixed, he is your man.
The colder weather has not deterred our hardy gardeners who have been working hard at the allotment, making sure the Market Garden will be in rude health come the spring. We did have a small bonfire to warm the hands!

BUILDING UPDATE

The Weekday Warriors were joined by staff from McFarlane Telfer (MCFT) this week. We are indebted to MCFT who have supplied the vast majority of the kitchen equipment for The Swan. They visited on Wed to finalise the end of the kitchen renovation and install. The end is in sight!

Come and see for yourself all that is on offer at The Swan.
