The Tory leadership race is down to the final two candidates – Boris Johnson and Jeremy Hunt.
I believe delivering Brexit and stopping Jeremy Corbyn getting into No.10 is essential for the democratic future of our country.

Boris will deliver Brexit. He has united 160 Conservative MPs both remainers and leavers. The polls show clearly Boris can beat Corbyn and stop Nicola Sturgeon.

I believe the UK's integrity is at risk if we and Labour do not keep our manifesto pledge in 2017 to deliver Brexit.

Whilst I would loyally serve under Hunt as PM only Boris has the personality and charisma to convince the EU we mean business and beat Corbyn.

“Cometh the time cometh the man, Boris will deliver.”

Sea Lion Project

Oil and Gas is an essential part of decarbonising our economy.  An estimated 7000 trillion cubic feet of natural gas has yet to be explored. It will play a massive part in further decarbonising the world’s economy.
Hydrogen derived from natural gas is the fuel of the future. Along with carbon capture, it answers so many of the world’s demands with a changing climate.
  • But are we defending the space?
  • Is the industry articulating to the consumers and the population the potential of clean oil and gas?
  • Where is the narrative to defend oil and gas?
  • Where are the Sunday paper headlines Hydrogen fuel of the future?
  • Where are the documentaries of brilliant subsea technology, the space exploration of Scotland with ROVs and world class new techniques.
I believe projects like Sea Lion are ground breaking, that the spin-offs from O&G will shape our world, that Hydrogen from Natural Gas will save the planet, that Oil as a raw material may not be burned but will be used for centuries as an essential ingredient for transport, manufacturing, pharmacology, chemicals let alone aviation, roads and everything we use now.

Scotland's Beef Event at North Bethelnie

I was delighted to participate in the seminar at Scotland's Beef Event 2019, at North Bethelnie, Oldmeldrum by kind permission of the Milne family.
The team was complete with Peter Cook of Opportunity North-east (ONE), agricultural banking chief Brian Richardson, Quality Meat Scotland chairwoman Kate Rowell, and Scottish Beef Farm of the Year winner David Watson of Durris.  The panel was chaired by former BBC Scotland Reporter Ken Rundle.
The event was organised by the Scottish Beef Association assisted with a local organising committee and sponsored by a variety of companies.
A superb and informative day out which attracted a huge crowd the length and breadth of Scotland.
University of Aberdeen MRI Research

Aberdeen School of Medicine is the home of MRI and this low magnate scanner has national importance. MPs are always delighted to showcase the NE to Westminster ministers.

This is a world class development and I am delighted the Secretary of State for Health, Rt Hon Matt Hancock MP, was able to accept my invitation to see first-hand this ground-breaking research on MRI scanners.

Over 200 unique Oor Wullie sculptures have taken to the streets and countryside of Scotland.  The first ever nationwide art trail which was launched on the 17th June and you have eleven weeks this summer to find them!
The ARCHIE Foundation is partnering with Edinburgh Children's Hospital Charity and Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity for the BIG Bucket Trail and have signed up business and organisational sponsors from all over the country.
