This year the National Alliance of Public Charter Schools (NAPCS) will be hosting their annual conference in person again!
The event is taking place in Washington, DC from June 19 - 22, 2022.
Members from Oregon Coalition of Community Charter Schools (ORC3S) will be there, will you? We'll be hosting an Oregon get together during the conference, an opportunity to meet with and catch up with colleagues from Oregon charter schools.
Here's why we're attending:
This is where the movement meets. At the National Charter Schools Conference, we bring together the top charter school educators, advocates, and leaders from around the country to share their best practices and lead conversations that will challenge our thinking. Everyone should feel seen and respected at the conference and know they play a critical role in shaping public education.
This is your opportunity to meet with others who share your beliefs—and those who don’t—to tackle some of the most challenging conversations educators face today. We’re talking about critical race theory, trauma-informed education, and more—and how to navigate these conversations with families. Timely focus areas will allow attendees to dive deeper with experts and come away with practical tools they can implement at their schools and organizations.
Year-round we are all fighting for our students from every corner of the country—the national charter conference is your chance to meet the rest of the team of educators, leaders, and advocates who are standing up for students with you every day. Your work has tremendous impact and together we can elevate that impact inside and outside of the classroom.
Join us in June for the NAPCS conference! If you're attending, let me know and we'll add you to our Oregon Gathering guest list.
