A Letter from

Imagine for a moment that you are living in a world where all of your current burdens and fears are gone. You wake up in the morning with a smile so large it could move mountains; you walk around with a confident posture, knowing that there is nothing in the world that could bring you down; you greet strangers with a joyous laugh – You think to yourself, ‘This must be what Heaven is like’.
But this may seem to be a far-away dream, with the current state of our world. At times, the burdens each of us are carrying may be getting heavier than we can handle. We may feel our backs bending under the strain of attempting to keep everything in our lives together… We may be feeling like we are the only ones in the world who are carrying heavy burdens… We may be feeling lost.
But even though our world is not perfect, there is Someone who is. He is helping to keep your head above water during all the times you feel you are drowning. He is reaching down with a loving hand to wipe the tears off your check as you weep alone. And He is there, on the Cross, putting all of your heavy burdens on His back, so that one day you will have eternal, peaceful rest with Him in His Kingdom.
With God, maybe there is a little bit of Heaven here on Earth after all.
