This week HEP is delivering the first set of 'Deep Dive training sessions with Andy Phillips' for Primary members. With over 150 subject leaders signed up to the three sessions, delegates will be ‘Preparing for a Deep-Dive in your subject’

Session 1 - Ofsted and the role of the subject leader in preparing for a subject specific deep-dive
Session 2 - How to present a coherent message about the subject you lead - ‘what will I be asked?’
Session 3 - Writing a rigorous and robust subject self-evaluation report

All sessions will be twilight online meetings held throughout the spring term.


Invite to all HEP members

HEP would like to invite you to sign up, at no cost, for the spring term LWA Headteachers meeting on Tuesday 2nd Feb from 8am with guest speakers Sam Sims on the impact of the school culture on teacher retention and pupil attainment as well as Hope Virgo the Author of Stand Tall Little Girl, and an international leading advocate for people with eating disorders.

School leadership qualifications - Deadline 12th Jan

The Green School Trust are pleased to announce that they will be delivering NPQ courses as part of the Outstanding Leaders Partnership and the Best Practice Network provision. 

Applications are made through the OLP by 12th January, for a Spring 2021 start. 

Schools may be especially interested in the Apprenticeship route for their colleagues as this saves them using revenue funding from their CPD budgets. There is a huge amount of information available on the links in the flyers below or please contact Sally Yarrow Executive Headteacher via email
