HEP Member Survey

Member feedback informs HEP strategy

HEP is pleased to share a link to the Member Survey for you to provide feedback as part of HEP’s annual review process. Regular member feedback informs our offer to schools so the more surveys completed the more bespoke our membership offer will be in the coming year. Thank you for your support.

Harlequins Foundation Offers Apprenticeship Opportunities For Staff

Government incentive for employers to hire an apprentice

The Harlequins Foundation, working in partnership with HEP, would like to provide some information about their apprenticeship programme. They would be interested in hearing from schools in particular that might have teaching assistants, activity coordinators and/or lunchtime supervisors who would be interested in upskilling and gaining the confidence to promote, deliver and coach fun, inclusive and engaging activities and support students to adopt and maintain healthy and active lifestyles.

Hounslow Neglect strategy + Quality of Care tool training

Please see below dates for the remainder of 2021 for Hounslow Neglect strategy + Quality of Care tool training; 2.5 hour sessions via Teams. This next phase is particularly aimed at schools as the vital safeguarding partner alongside social work, health and police. We hope to see you either side of the summer break.
Sessions are delivered by a multi professional group and focus on how best to use the Quality of Care structured judgement tool in practice. The tool was developed by Hounslow several years ago and is now being widely used by social workers in all cases where neglect is the primary concern. It is vital that we use this tool effectively as it is an essential part of Hounslow’s two-year strategy to improve the way in which we work with families where neglectful parenting is of concern.
These sessions will:-

  • Outline Hounslow’s strategy
  • Enable you to use the Quality of Care tool in partnership with other professionals and with families
  • Share worker ‘top tips’
  • Emphasise the importance of multi professional involvement
  • Illustrate the benefits of using the Quality of Care tool

Places are limited to 15 per session. Please email your preferred date to reserve a place:-
June - 29.6.21 1.00-3.30pm
July - 20.7.21 9.30-12.00
