Free online training offer to all HEP secondary schools
HEP is pleased to offer three remote sessions dedicated to A Level Maths training this summer term.
Sessions 1 and 2 are intended for all A level Maths teachers. Session 3 is for Maths Heads of Department or Maths KS5 Leaders. There are already 6 schools signed up, but there is unlimited space for those yet to register.
This bespoke Maths training has been designed to improve subject knowledge and pedagogy of specific topics as identified by Heads of Department within the subject network. In comparison to impressive KS4 results in Maths across HEP schools, there is an identified need to improve outcomes at A Level.

Following on from the “Training’ feature in last week’s newsletter, HEP would like to signpost the ‘Meetings’ section of the new website.
Partnership meetings and the associated working groups, led by Headteachers are the driving force of HEP’s work. Termly meetings set the strategic direction for HEP who also facilitates LA liaison meetings to ensure effective partnership work.
