The SixintoSeven portal is now live for HEP Secondary members to activate their accounts and we also request sign up for our free three session A level Maths training in June and July. For Primary we launched Get Hounslow Reading to members last week so register your interest in joining the programme plus we have offers from Grasshoppers, LWA and a new Deep Dive for Primary Music.

SixintoSeven data transfer platform is live

The SixintoSeven Plus portal for HEP secondary schools is now live. Please follow these simple steps to activate your account:

Step 1. Heads/deputies to activate your school’s SixIntoSeven account by registering at

Step 2 search for and select your school by typing the start of the name or postcode (no spaces)

Step 3. confirm email address by clicking through from verification email sent from the platform

Step 4. once registered please accept the data sharing agreement and platform licence agreement (HEP has paid all fees on your behalf)

Step 5. set up your data manager as a user in “User Management” (they will receive an email notification)

HEP will then contact your data manager to take them through how to upload the expected pupil list and connect with your feeder primary schools both in and out of the borough.

A ‘kick-off’ meeting for Headteachers and senior leaders, who have registered their interest, has been scheduled for Wednesday 19th May, 2-3pm

This will provide an opportunity to: 

  • Identify Reading for Pleasure (RfP) teachers in participating schools 
  • Provide an outline for the summer term workshops
  • Decide on dates for the summer term workshops in June

Maths A Level Training June/July 2021

Free online training offer to all HEP secondary schools

HEP is pleased to offer three remote sessions dedicated to A Level Maths training this summer term. 

Sessions 1 and 2 are intended for all A level Maths teachers. Session 3 is for Maths Heads of Department or Maths KS5 Leaders. There are already 6 schools signed up, but there is unlimited space for those yet to register. 

This bespoke Maths training has been designed to improve subject knowledge and pedagogy of specific topics as identified by Heads of Department within the subject network. In comparison to impressive KS4 results in Maths across HEP schools, there is an identified need to improve outcomes at A Level.

Finding a meeting through the new website

Following on from the “Training’ feature in last week’s newsletter, HEP would like to signpost the ‘Meetings’ section of the new website.

Partnership meetings and the associated working groups, led by Headteachers are the driving force of HEP’s work. Termly meetings set the strategic direction for HEP who also facilitates LA liaison meetings to ensure effective partnership work.

Date confirmed for a deep dive session for Music leaders

The summer series of the subject-specific deep dive starts this week, in partnership with Andy Phillips.

Following the huge number of colleagues participating in the first series of Deep Dive sessions, HEP has now made these available to view via our YouTube channel. The videos have been created in partnership with Andy Phillips and the first video link is below. They are ideal:

Half term summer camp dates

HEP is pleased to share information highlighting a London Irish summer half term camp being held at Grasshoppers RFC.

The camp will take place over two days on Wednesday 2nd & Thursday 3rd June.
Note there is an early bird incentive code which is valid until 14th May for 10% off bookings.

The camp is open to boys and girls aged U7 to U14.
£40 for 1 day, £60 for 2 days.
