Rule Book Consultations Continue

BNTAC’s Rule Book consultations continued with Banjima communities in the Pilbara this month, providing an opportunity for Banjima People to understand the Rule Book and provide input into how it is working.

Any proposed changes to the Rule Book will go to the BNTAC AGM later this year.

Successful Banjima Elders Council Meeting in Tom Price

The Banjima Elders Council recently held their second meeting in Tom Price. Over the two day meeting the Elders considered a number of new membership applications, BNTAC's Rule Book, BCM's Caring for Country projects, and much more.

The next Elders Council Meeting is expected to be held in October 2019.

World Suicide Prevention Day

World Suicide Prevention Day was on Tuesday 10 September, but it's important to keep raising awareness of this issue. Alarmingly, the likelihood that Aboriginal people will self-harm is six times greater compared to non-Aboriginal people.

You may still access BCT Healthy Living funds through BNTAC.
