  • There are many ways to support the Shelter but if you're a member of the Guardian Angel program, please know that you save the day, every day.
Your continuing donation, whether it be monthly, semi-annual or annual, allows us to continue our mission as a safe haven for the homeless pets of the Morongo Basin communities. Your steadfast support helps fund the daily food, shelter, bedding, clean kennels, medical care and all the basic needs of our homeless pets.
That is why this party is for you. We plan to celebrate your achievements with ice cream and cake, and give you the scoop on the plans to build a new shelter.

If you are not a registered Guardian Angel nor a guest of a registered Guardian Angel, you are welcome to attend. Please RSVP by May 15 to joshuatreenokillshelter@gmail.com. You will be asked for a $10 donation to the Guardian Angel fund at the entrance table. Thank you!
  • If you are not yet a Guardian Angel, please consider joining this vital staff of supporters and benefactors to save the day, every day.
  • It's easy. It's tax deductible. It's an absolute joy.

Progress Report

New Digs for Dogs and Cats

Status: We are 90% complete with the huge package we have to submit to San Bernardino County to get the approval process going -- so close! All this preliminary work has been a long process! And we are probably 12-18 months from getting our final approvals and permits.
And the good news is: This gives us more time to raise the funds necessary to build our exciting new no-kill shelter and animal adoption complex. Our goal to start Phase 1 is $1,000,000. As of April, 2022, we have $300,000 in our capital campaign fund.
Bring on the site plans: Our plans for the new shelter and adoption complex will consist of several buildings that include housing for cats and kittens, dog kennels, plus several shaded dog parks for doggie free play.
Bottom line: We have a challenging goal and we are so thankful for your continuing donations. Nearly 100% of our funding comes form our loyal and enthusiastic community, a solid donor base, volunteers and many fundraising activities which include birthday fundraisers, Amazon Smile purchases, and our annual Woof!Walk and Giving Tuesday.
We are so thankful for all your donations to our "New Digs for Dogs & Cats” campaign. We cannot do it without YOU.
