The West Coast's Largest Miniature Show Returns

Showcase of Miniatures resumes popular event after missing 2020

The 45th annual Showcase of Miniatures returns to the Doubletree Hotel this weekend, Saturday Oct. 9, 10am - 5pm & Sunday Oct. 10, 11am-4pm.

Per local health guidelines and to help keep everyone safer, this year's Showcase will be require both proof of Covid-19 vaccination and wearing a face mask or covering.
Each year talented miniaturists display their exciting creations at the Showcase of Miniatures, and this year will be no different. The heart of the Showcase are the over 50 artisans (many who are IGMA Artisans or Fellows), who will have exciting and exquisite items for sale. There will also be several fun activities for attendees, including a silent auction and two workshops for pre-registered children 12 yrs. and up on Saturday, and a free "Tools and Techniques" workshop on Sunday morning before the Showcase opens. The ever-popular White Elephant sales will also be open on Saturday and Sunday. Juried exhibits will fire your creative ideas. And you'll find everything you need to finish that special miniature project including dollhouses, room boxes, unique furniture, beautiful dolls, food that looks good enough to eat, holiday items and much more.

To create the safest possible environment, everyone attending (dealers and their helpers, volunteer staff, workshop attendees and visitors) will be required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination for entry to the show. A photo ID matching the name on the proof of vaccination will also be required. Vaccinated adolescents age 12 to 17 are most welcome, but unfortunately children under 12 can not be accommodated this year.

Masks will need to be worn whenever inside the hotel as well. The County of Santa Clara continues to have an Indoor Face Covering mandate in place that requires the public to wear a well-fitting mask in all indoor public spaces regardless of vaccination status.
