What a fantastic year it's been for AOCS.
So many members and of course the wonderful leads team contributed to a colourful and inspiring 2022, bursting with courses, workshops, events, publications, and curious discussions.
We would like to thank Michelle Lucas and Yvette Elcock for bringing members together for another year of rich learning through the Co-Supervision Space.
We also had the monthly Regional Coordinators meetings where viewpoints and regional experiences were shared to gain a worldwide overview of supervision and beyond.
Felicia Lauw stepped up and held space for members for Diversity and Inclusion and is now joined by Fenella Trevillion to take forward this work and support how to develop ourselves and create a more inclusive community.
Climate and ecosystem change have also been another of the big themes, as we kicked off a series of free roundtables for coaches, mentors, coaching psychologists, and supervisors to figure out how best to change their practices.
Read the full year's update here now.
AOCS has been proud to promote our members through the new Members Voice platform. Thank you for all your incredible contributions and we look forward to engaging with you again next year.

Here are some questions you might like to ponder when enrolling for the round tables:
- Does the emphasis that we are pacing on climate surprise you?
- Have you had an opportunity to think about how you as a supervisor are going to work with coaches in the climate space, as this mega theme grows
- How involved are you with climate and biodiversity at home and in your practice?

We are excited to announce the release of Dr. Theodora Fitzsimmons's book, due out on 20th December 2023.
This book captures the story of how internal coaching was introduced and has since evolved in the U.S. Federal Government and provides coaches and government agency leaders with the skills and tools to help them implement their own successful coaching programs. There truly is no book in the market that looks at how to help coaches implement programs in government.

"Every Coach should have a Supervisor". by Nena Veber.
What provoked me is a statement by a colleague coach:
"... WHY behind supervision isn't clear yet ...", so "... until the vision/purpose for supervision becomes clearer, it's hard to make broad statements about every coach ... What problem would a requirement for supervision solve?"
