Hello Femfluencer,

For many, this quarantine has been a time to rethink the spaces we live in. Two companies that are inspiring me to bring more vibrancy to my spaces are Jungalow furniture founded by Justina Blakeney and The Sill for plants founded by Eliza Blank.

If you need help designing an interior space, there are virtual interior designers you can hire. You simply give them the measurements to your space, select which pieces you want to keep and what you have in mind, and they send you back mood boards and an entire shopping list for you to order the additional pieces. Check out the podcast episode below to learn about a Female Founder who does this exact thing!

Episode 10 of #FemaleFounderFridays was with Valery Sarue, the Founder and Interior Designer at Maison Valerie, which is an interior design studio based in Miami, FL, that specializes in online and virtual design. Parting from her roots in both design and business, and through helping out a friend in need, Valerie found a business model that suited her. She first worked for a company of a similar virtual style, and after a few years, she launched her own studio! She has completed over 130 projects so far and this is just the beginning. Tune in to hear how this founder is re-introducing interior design to the average person, at an accessible cost, and with eco-friendly, pet-friendly, or kid-friendly options for furniture shopping! Visit her page for a consultation and see how you can turn your WFH space into a paradise that truly feels welcoming to you!

Listen on Anchor, on Spotify, or on Apple Podcasts.

With love,

Alessia
