Ditto recently participated in a National Schools Project called the Young American Poetry Digest. This project was

designed to share students' talents with others, supply a national audience for student writing, and provide a publishing opportunity for young poets.  Over 280 Ditto students submitted poems to be considered for publication!  IMPORTANT:  We recently received permission letters for over 120 students that were accepted for publication.  They should have brought those letters home last week; there is a post-mark deadline of April 16 for parents to mail the permission letter to the National Schools Project.

Our k-2 students will be using a website that has a free trial until July 1; The publishing company ABDO hosts a site in which students may access e-books related to STEAM (Science, technology, engineering, Art and Math).  From home, here is how to access the site and enjoy the many ebooks and STEAM-related activities:

 Go to   abdozoom.com       ID= aisdtx    PW=  student
