Message from Fr Peter

Dear brothers and sisters,
This weekend is an important one as we gather at our Annual Parochial Church Meeting to reflect upon 2020 in the context of our life as a church, and look to the future.
This period of having been exiled from our buildings, and physically separated from one another, has reminded us how precious and vital being a community is to our flourishing as God’s people.  And last week in my sermon I spoke about how important it is that we all play our part in ensuring that we all, as a family, continue to thrive together.
Please do download copies of the Annual Report and give it a read (the link is below), and join us tomorrow at 12 noon in St Luke’s if you can (perhaps bring some refreshment if you’re going to the 10.30 beforehand), as we consider the past year or so, and prepare to step forward into our future.
God’s love and blessings be with you all,
Fr Peter

Bridge of Hope

For many years, we as a congregation have supported Bridge of Hope Children’s Ministry, set up by friends of our church, which supports children in Uganda who are orphaned, abandoned or living in extreme poverty.

Fr Peter will be speaking about Bridge of Hope in this week’s service, but before then, please do watch this wonderful video about Bridge of Hope’s work.

'Roots' video about Migration

Another video for you to enjoy!

This beautiful short film was produced by a governor at the school where Moggs is Head Teacher, and explores how people all over the world are united by our common ancestry and roots.

These are very important issues for us as people who believe that all human beings are made by God, in His image; please do give it a watch.
