Services this week

Sunday Eucharist - 9th January

Daily Evening Prayer - online

Monday - Friday, 5.30pm Online
Our daily service of Evening Prayer, where we pray for our community and our world. All are welcome to join us.

Upcoming services

Our service pattern alternates between St Luke’s and St John’s on a weekly basis. Public worship will take place on Sundays at 10am (*with the exception of Children’s services which will be held at 9am)

23rd January - St John's
30th January - St Luke's

Christmas charity appeals

The following monies were raised over Christmas:

Children’s Society (Christingle collection) £268.79

Church Urban Fund (Christmas Card) £62

Many thanks to all those who contributed to these appeals.

Prayer group

Our next Prayer Group is Saturday 15 January 9.30am in the Lady Chapel St Luke’s, start the day with a prayer, a time for reflection, followed by coffee and croissant

Revision of church electoral roll

Ahead of our APCM on 6 March 2022 we will be opening our Electoral Roll for revision, please see the noticeboard in the porches of the churches.  This is the annual additions and removals revision.  The complete revision happens every 6 years and was last conducted in 2020.

If you are not yet on the Electoral Roll, please fill in an Application Form, (at the back of the church) and return to Heather Livermore – Electoral Roll Officer by 13 February 2022. Or request a copy by email:

Parish 100 Club

The first draw of the Parish 100 Club will take place on 16 January 2022. Please let Dave Young (01707 872857 or know if you wish to continue with your membership or join as a new member. The cost is £2.00 per number per month, payment needs to be received by 16 January to be included in the first draw.
