Play Games

  • This little guy below is Harold the Hedgehog, and he highly recommends that you add joy triggers to your vocabulary

"Alright, Alright, Alright." - Matthew McConaughey

Alright, Greenlights is Matthew McConaughey's recently released memoirs. Matthew delivers the full range of human emotions while sharing stories about his childhood building a 13 story treehouse, relationships with his twice-divorced-three-times-married parents, two spiritual journeys to South America and Africa inspired by wet dreams, early acting career, rise to fame, and starting a family. Highly recommend both the print version and the audiobook because it's read by Matthew.

Alright, you can watch McConaughey's newest film, The Gentlemen, where he plays a British drug lord trying to sell off his highly profitable empire alongside a star-studded cast.

Alright, you can also watch this video Matthew McConaughey's Secret To Become Your Future Self in 7 Steps:

  1. Appreciate and recognize that you are not the same person as your future self
  2. Imagine your desired future self
  3. Tell everyone about your future self = clear + vocal
  4. Define a “keystone” goal
  5. Visualize and journal daily with emotion
  6. Remove contradictions because what got you here, won’t get you there
  7. Spend 60-90 minutes in *flow* working towards your future self every morning
Lots of good reading recommendations from my Q4 library...

Teaching More Social Entrepreneurs

I am going to teach social entrepreneurship to high school students this spring! If you know any high school students or their parents, please spread the word about University Startups. The online program will run for 8 weeks and meet on Thursdays from 6-9pm.

I will also be teaching INAF 283 Social Entrepreneurship to Georgetown undergrads on Thursdays from 5-5:50pm for a 1-credit elective open to students with any major, and it will be a majorly fun online learning experience. I'm excited to invest my Thursday nights in teaching the next generation of social entrepreneurs!

Grateful for the Gift of Eye Health

As 2020 comes to a close, I'm leading corporate sales for Felix Gray Blue Light filtering glasses. Felix Gray's mission is to empower people to live happier, healthier, and more productive lives in our modern world. Felix Gray offers first-of-their-kind, proprietary Blue Light filtering lenses paired with timeless, hand-finished frames that will help you look just as fresh as your eyes will feel.

I'm looking to connect with companies and HR colleagues who care about their employees' health, well-being, and WFH productivity enough to protect them from digital eye strain caused by too much screen time. Felix Gray offers holiday eGift Cards to pick out their favorite frames and lenses (regular, reader, or Rx all with Blue Light filtering) to meet their visual needs and personal styles. Do you know any companies or HR colleagues that could benefit from discovering Felix Gray and giving the gift of eye health?
I'm grateful that my family was able to safely gather for an early family Thanksgiving! With great coaching from my dad, I successfully cooked my first turkey without burning down the house and only setting off the smoke alarm once :) Hope you and your loved ones can celebrate good health, delicious food, and plenty of naps. Sharing is caring and positive vibes are always welcome.

With Gratitude and Thanksgiving,
Malloy
