My apologies for not being in touch since summer 2019. Music is my passion but writing about it is not one my strong points!

The first gig of my all new band was at the Prog Before Christmas festival in Glasgow.

Introducing;

Gareth Lloyd - guitar
Gordon Craig - guitar
Jamie Hamilton - keyboards
Christopher Scott - drums

The guys played great and we were well received by the audience.

And with that in mind, I am most excellently excited to bring the release of our new single 2021 to your attention! It's an instrumental based on a song my wife Tina Clark wrote for herself as a teenager. We developed the main themes into a somewhat heavier prog rock tune! Available at;

My website - https://www.jenclarkmusic.com/
Bandcamp - https://jenniferclark.bandcamp.com/
...and all the usual places like Amazon, iTunes and so on.

Gareth edited together this brilliant video for us! Hope you enjoy it!

Liz Jones & Broken Windows

My music production work with Liz Jones and her band continued in 2020. "Mother Earth" from her upcoming solo album was the first release, and we've been delighted with the positive response to it.
Next up was Candle with Liz and her band Broken Windows.

I've just heard that Candle has been nominated as a finalist in the Blues & Roots Radio international song contest. Fingers crossed!

Tales from the Garscube Road - Possil Mor

The debut album from Scottish band Possil Mor was released in 2020. It was my pleasure to record, mix and play bass on it.

Here is "Letty's Song" from that album, available on all popular download and streaming platforms. You can find out more about Possil Mor on their facebook page.

And in the continuing studio woodwork series...

A custom mic stand holder built by local joiner Derek Mclaren for my studio. Inspired by an idea from my wife Tina Clark, it fits perfectly into a corner of room 2.

I cut the "pipes" from 125mm diameter HVAC duct!

Coming Up

Several albums in the pipeline;

  • Liz Jones solo album.
  • New album from Broken Windows.
  • New album from myself and band, ETA 2022 :-)

All the best, and I hope to see you soon.
