Hello <<First Name>>,

I am Kim Sciarretta, Ph.D., the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) Program Manager heading the Infection Severity Tool Incubator
At BARDA, I manage the Solving Sepsis program where we are looking at Infection severity diagnostic tools, based on combinations of host biomarkers, clinical data, and electronic health record (EHR) data, combined and enhanced by machine learning (ML) algorithms, to offer potential solutions to risk-adjust infection severity and to aid clinical management decisions.

Our intent for the Infection Severity Tool Incubator and upcoming Ask Me Anything is to gain feedback from the community on clinical need and potential utility of these infection severity tools, for development and future adoption/implementation.

Please see Ask Me Anything details below.

Sincerely,
Kim

The platform accelerates access to scientific evidence, hypothesis development, research proposal generation and sponsor engagement. Developed for scientific researchers, research sponsors, and the curious, Polyplexus reinvents the social platform by advancing evidence-based conversations, focusing the discussion through the lens of what we already know - in the  pursuit of what we might discover. An open, public platform, Polyplexus is currently in development with founding sponsor DARPA.
