Relationships are not always easy

When we start the new year, we want it to be good for us, for our loved ones, at work, in the ministry we are part of and in health. Probably like you, for me while starting 2020, I had no idea how it would end and what it would bring. And it brought a lot. Changes. Fruits. Losses.

I hope that this NEW 2021 is welcoming you well <<First Name>>. And that it's going to be a blessed year for all of us.
For I know the plans I have for you
(says the Lord)

plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11
Browsing photos on my phone, remembering different moments, I am grateful to God for his presence and guidance every single day. And I'm very thankful for you. Personally. Individually.

Pandemic was trying hard to stop daily life, disturb ministry and broke relationships. One thing is sure. We all stopped. But we haven't stopped in our mission - calling that God gave us to.
2020 thank you for
  • keeping me home more than ever before!
  • giving me time to focus on the beauty of God's creation
  • a time with my family (celebrating my mom's 70th birthday during lock down was a treasure! Usually on her birthday I was doing some pickups on the airports in the past years)
  • possibility of meeting the FALA team face to face twice last year at h2o
  • many days with my Grandma Wanda (God took her home on October). I'm grateful for time of grieving in silence, not during ministry events but at home..
  • women's ministry at my local church
  • youth group visit in churches that partners with English Camp ministry
  • pushing me to be stretched to some limits and new adventures
  • to be bold in God's faith
  • my fundraising journey and all miracles from heaven and everyone who is a part of it

Key area Of Investment.

In the midst of Pandemic Josiah Venture Poland decided to delegate some of the missionaries to conduct 4 different projects. The idea for those projects was: what we need to do but we did not have time for that before. One of those needs is putting a bigger impact on research but also on the evangelization activities. The board decided to give me the role of manager of Evangelization project KOI (Key area Of Investment). Our goal in this project is to support the evangelistic activities of local churches by supporting summer camps where teenagers convert and grow up in the disciple-making process. You can think.. well nothing new. And that is right. It's what we had on our minds on the English Camp team for some time already. But due to the pandemic, we joined the forces of missionaries from JV Poland together.

Another project is about research for youth in Poland and to find out what their current needs. Based on those outcomes we will design innovations in youth ministry. We will implement them in particular ministries and we will see what we can learn from that and how we can change youth ministry in Poland to be more effective. I believe it will be very helpful for our follow up with local churches.
I am excited about this new (4 in total) project that is happening already and I cannot wait to see what we will discover and how God will guide us. Please pray that God will lead us, have a plans to prosper for us and give me lots of wisdom for leading this new team (its a team of 8 now) on a EVANGELIZATION PROJECT KOI.

Relationships are not always easy

Sometimes I'm really busy with zoom. One meeting ends while another one starts. Sometimes it's hard for me to find a space in between. But I know it's essential to do so.
I'm booking a time for a Day with God on my calendar. Free from "other call's". I took this picture with the bible while I was spending the morning with God and reflecting His Magnificent few days ago. Today my thoughts are focusing on
you - <<First Name>>, your generosity and mercy that is giving me so much power, strength and courage to continue the mission that God put me in.
Relationships are not always easy. I know we all know we need to care for our relationship with God, every single day, every minute.
The Relationship aspect for youth is full of struggle and tears...

When you make disciples best? As you go. I love it. Best conversation usually happens in the car. Two weeks ago I had to pick up something from a city 1h from home, Żaneta offered a helping hand, a car and a great company. We spend almost 3h together traveling and talking. She is struggling with an easy relationship with a boyfriend. Please pray for her as well.

Just before Christmas I was having the privilege to lead a workshop during the youth conference EL DORADO. I was talking about Toxic Relations. Not an easy thing especially on Christmas time, but very needed. El Dorado young volunteers put a great effort to reach many teanagers with invitation to that event. Everything was online, and that seems to help a little to open up young people after my workshop to talk more, and ask for help. Please pray for them.
