3D-printing of human anatomy? Australian scientists have developed technology that uses stem cells to replicate human ears via 3D printing technology.
There is a known bug (since 2012) that caused some users' passwords to be stored in a plain text file that at least 2,000 employees have accessed since the bug began. 
Scientists haven't given up on a way to harness the power of nuclear energy with new and safer reactors. Plants using these new reactors are in planning stages in China and Canada.
Tesla's Autopilot program isn't quite ready for the mass public, despite numerous software updates to correct issues -- including steering toward lane dividers.
DARPA declares latest drone project a success. The CODE program focused on training and preparing drones for environments where GPS or other satellite signal would be impossible.
The worlds most powerful supercomputer, the Summit, will be dethroned when the Aurora is finished. The Aurora will be capable of more than a quintillion calculations per second, which is seven times faster than the predecessor.
