Dear Reader,
I am happy to announce that I am making my way back to the written world and that my partner and I have had a healthy baby boy!
It's been about two months and I'm still stumbling through and finding my way around, but I've finally found enough of a rhythm to sneak in some writing!
That being said, I'd like to announce the official title and cover art of my next novel, Death Made Me Do It!
Death Made Me Do It is the sequel to I Fell in Love with a Necromancer, a side series that is a companion to the Docherty series. In this sequel, we continue our journey with the necromancer Cecile and her undead family. After suffering a great loss, Cecile and her companions are struggling to find their place in a world where necromancy is illegal and the undead are hunted down by the government. As if their problems weren't enough, Cecile has uncovered something strange in the mountains of British Columbia, pulling her into another supernatural mystery that uproots her life and causes her to question who she is and what she truly wants.
I am 3/4's of the way through the first draft and having a lot of fun with it. My hope is to get it to you this holiday season, but if it's not ready by then, I'll aim for the new year! Either way, I shall plug away at it.
I can't wait to share more of this world with you!
