When Do You Need to Make a Retreat?
When you need Jesus!
Retreats will not magically change the mess and confusion of our lives into a beautiful lives-of-the-saints stained glass window. But they can be a crucial beginning to a transformative journey with Christ and receiving the healing he brings. Retreats can show us how to change our lives, encounter the Father in new ways, and give us the spiritual tools needed to truly transform our lives and give ourselves to Christ. In stepping away from the world and leaning into God’s love, we have an amazing opportunity to understand our faith in a whole new way and claim it as our own.

"Lies, Truth and Healing" a Retreat with Fr. Adam Sughroue
Aug. 9-11, 2019
Knowing the lies the devil tells us
Bring God into the lies and experience His healing
Fr. Adam Sughroue invites you to examine how the evil one still tries to deceive us with his empty words and false promises, trying to keep us ignorant and wounded, especially by sowing seeds of doubt about God's love and care for us. The devil lies to all of us and we cannot grow if we are falling into a false narrative. Therefore, we need to bring God into that false narrative which will bring healing and allow spiritual growth.

"The Divine Physician in Luke's Gospel" a Retreat with Fr. Gary Coulter
Aug. 23-35, 2019
Addressing our Spiritual Ills
Learn from Jesus, the ultimate physician who heals the wounded sinner.
Fr. Gary Coulter invites all to learn from Jesus' example and teaching in the gospel of Luke.  "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I have not come to call the righteous but sinners." (Luke 5:31-32) Indeed he plants a desire and longing in our heart: "Christ comes to meet every human being. It is he who first seeks us... Whether we realize it or not, prayer is the encounter of God's thirst with ours. God thirsts that we may thirst for him." (Catechism 2560)
