Apply for funding to deliver holiday activities and food programme places (HAF) – grant application process open now!
Following the success of the pilot holiday activities and food (HAF) programme over the Easter holiday, we’re pleased to say that we are now open for providers to apply for grant funding to deliver summer holiday HAF places for children living in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
We’re really looking forward to building on the success of the Easter programme and providing even more opportunities for children and families to take part in this valuable scheme.
About the HAF programme and the grant
The HAF programme provides school aged children (aged five to 16) in receipt of benefits-related free school meals with fully funded holiday activity places and a meal whilst at the activity.
Grant funding is available for providers to deliver summer holiday places for the equivalent of at least four hours a day, four days a week, covering four weeks in the summer holidays. Applications can be made individually or in partnership with another provider.
If you can help by offering activities and meet the requirements in the guidance, please apply for a grant now. The deadline for grant applications is midday onWednesday 9 June 2021.
Further details can be found in the links included at the end of this email.
