Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group have created a survey for SENCOs and Health Visitors to complete to understand their experiences of the Development & Behaviour Pathway since its launch in September 2018. The CCG are aware of some issues following its roll-out and are seeking feedback to improve the process.
The closing date for the survey is Tuesday 21 July 2020. Thank you in advance for your help.
This training will help you understand how a stressful environment for young children could lead to physical and emotional problems throughout their life and into adulthood, which could also mean they do not live as long and could develop serious health problems.
This course takes approximately 50 minutes to complete and is funded by the Home Office. There are lots of interesting facts throughout this training and it would be very beneficial for any practitioner.
For practitioners who would like to learn BSL – the course costs have been significantly reduced. BSL training would need to be undertaken to support a deaf child, if required because of parent preference or an ECHP.
NB: Practitioners should use either Signalong or Makaton (as used by Mr Tumble) to support children’s language and communication development. These are loosely based on BSL.
