FEAST OF THE PRESENTATION OF THE LORD
Mass will be celebrated at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord. In several cultures this feast marks the end of Christmastime. Gather for worship on this feast of light and peace.

On the first two Sundays of February we will gather items for the Women’s Community. Bring donations along to Mass or drop them in the Gathering Space during the week. These are the items being requested: · Diapers sizes: 4, 5, 6 · Baby wipes · Hair conditioner · New boys underwear sizes: 2-3, 4, 6-8, 10-12 · Men’s jeans, boots, winter jackets · Comfortable clothing - leggings, sweatpants, sweatshirts, flannel for all genders and sizes · Dish soap · Laundry detergent, dryer sheets · Winter jackets for tween girls.

GIVING LIFE AT ST. ANNE - FEB. 20
A blood drive will be held at St. Anne Feb. 20. You can make an appointment by calling 715.842.0761. Walk-ins also will be welcomed. Donations will benefit the Blood Center of North Central Wisconsin. In a recent bulletin column, Fr. Tom encouraged those who are able to donate blood to do so.

JUST FOR KIDS: A proclamation of God's word prepared for children is offered at the 8:30 Sunday Mass. Children ages 4 to second grade are invited to gather at the altar after the Collect, or opening prayer. They return as the collection is being gathered.

A PROJECT OF DISTINCTION:Ellis Construction was honored by the Wisconsin Associate of Builders and Contractors with a Projects of Distinction Gold Award for its renovation of St. Anne Church. Fr. Tom and Doug Holmberg of the parish accepted the award along with Andrew Halvorsen and Erik Carlson of Ellis.
BRING BACK BABY BOTTLES: Baby bottles distributed during Advent are being collected to support the Hope Life Center and its outreach to those facing an unplanned pregnancy or dealing with a past abortion. ALL BABY BOTTLES ARE ASKED TO BE RETURNED - even if they're still empty, since they can be re-used.
THE SUNDAY READINGS ON TUESDAY: Read, discuss and pray over next Sunday's reading in a weekly gathering at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays in the Gathering Space. It’s a great way to anticipate hearing the readings proclaimed at Mass and to gain a deeper awareness into the meaning and power of God’s word. All are welcome!
BLESSED ARE THEY: As a follow-up to Sunday's gospel proclamation of the The Beatitues, here is a homily offered by Fr. John Heagle as part of a Lenten Voices series in 2021. The presentation begins at 2:30. Fr. Heagle is a senior priest of the Diocese of La Crosse living in Oregon. He has been a popular presence at parish missions and national conferences for many years.
