Despite the many obstacles we have all faced, we are grateful for this year with you and optimistic about what is to come. You have inspired us to explore new options, build new partnerships, seek new resources, and expand our outreach to conserve even more of our beautiful and beneficial native prairies.

We wish for you and our prairies the resilience to make 2022 a time of resolve, restoration, and renewal. We look forward to what we will achieve together!

Native Prairies Association of Texas

Your Last Week to Make A Year-End Gift

Thank you for your commitment to our beautiful Texas prairies. While they have been vanishing under urban growth, together we can save what remains and restore even more.

We plan to protect another 1,000+ acres in 2022. There is so much interest in conservation and restoration in our prairie community, from landowners and others. But a conservation easement can cost up to $30,000. To maintain the momentum, we need additional funds. We don’t want to lose an opportunity.

Your gift by December 31st at NPAT-Donate can be designated directly toward funding land conservation or prairie education programs. This will have an enormous impact on our ability to protect more native prairie.
A monthly gift will go even further. You may also give from a donor-advised fund, direct stock gift, or from your IRA as a qualified charitable distribution. This could save you more on taxes and make an even larger impact. Also, The CARES Act expires at the end of 2021 and includes key provisions that may benefit your end-of-year charitable giving.

Texas prairies are part of our natural heritage. Help us preserve this legacy to maintain the diversity and benefits prairies offer to people and wildlife. Thank you for all you have done to get us this far!
