Spiders on Texas Prairies
Meghan Cassidy, a naturalist, photographer and spider enthusiast will share some basics about arachnids. She’ll feature some common spiders found in Texas prairies and plants they may be associated with, as well as some spider ID tips.  To join the meeting, click here.

Lawther-Deer Park Prairie Workday  in Deer Park
Saturday, January 22 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Work and learn, and help with the care and maintenance of this rare coastal prairie. To RSVP and for more details, contact Della Barbato.

NPAT staff will be conducting winter bird surveys on some of our properties in January. It's a great way to learn about the wintering Texas grassland birds. All skill levels are welcome.
