Greetings from Weymouth Center
Josiah Stevenson IV, a former volunteer board member and Weymouth supporter, passed away in December.
Josiah was a special friend who greeted all he met at Weymouth Center with a broad smile. After a full life, including military service, family, business development and benevolence, Joe and his wife Jane retired to Pinehurst to relax and also embrace additional worthy causes! To the great benefit of Weymouth, he brought his passion for classical music with him. As a Music Committee member he helped keep the Chamber Concert Music Series an essential part of the entertainment offered at the Boyd House. His warm personality and his support have been greatly appreciated at Weymouth Center and beyond.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to Jane, his wife of 63 years, and his sons and their families.

The Plant Sale is Coming...

(COVID-style, like last year)

The Annual Plant Sale is scheduled for Saturday, April 10. Last year, because of covid-19 we couldn't have a crowd of people on the lawn at the same time so the Dirt Gardeners sold plants, tools and lawn items over the course of a few weeks, giving everyone time and space to safely come and make purchases.
Do you have plants or plant-related items to donate? Please contact Kathy or Louise.
More information to follow.
Thanks to the generosity of the Garden Club of the Sandhills and all of their "Secret Santas" who got together and donated to Weymouth during this difficult time! After all donations came in, the total was $5,000!
Thank you all so much. We hope to be able to see you again soon.
