meal train
One of our parishioners, Irina Gozick, who has dedicated most of her life to the parish, is unable to come to church at the present. As her community, her family, we can't leave her alone. Therefore, we have decided to start a meal train for her.
The idea is very simple - prepare a homemade meal and bring it over to Irina on a Sunday. We chose Sunday because most of you are in church, so that you can drop the meal off after the service. Irina lives mere 10 minutes away from church.
If you would like to join the meal train, the signup sheet is posted in the church narthex (vestibule). Or, reply to this email.

If you know of anyone else who is homebound and will enjoy a homemade meal, please let Father Aleksey know.
Saint Nicholas project
This year once again our junior FOCA members, Katrina and Jakob Fett, will be organizing Saint Nicholas Wish List project in support of a seminary family.
Due to limitations because of the pandemic, we will only be collecting gift cards to Amazon, Target, Walmart, and Kohls stores. You are likewise welcome to donate cash instead of a gift card, for the gift cards to be purchased by Katrina and Jakob.
Unlike in past few years, again due to the coronavirus, we will not be able to welcome the seminary family to celebrate Liturgy and share fellowship with us.
Please have your donations in by next Sunday, November 29.
a couple of studies
Join our online Book Study group, which meets once a week, Wednesday or Friday at 8pm.
Right now we are reading a book by Rod Dreher "The Benedict Option, a strategy for Christians in a post-Christian nation." A very timely book, if you were to ask a certain priest, for everything that's going on in the society right now.
Reply to this email to get the meeting link.
Tuesdays, starting with an Akathist service at 7pm.
The Bible Study is available both for in-person attendance and online.
Reply to this email for the link to the online meeting.
