One of our parishioners was severely impacted by the recent storm, losing her house. A GoFundMe was set up to help her in the mean time. If you are able, please make a donation.
On Sunday, Sept. 12, at the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, we will pray and ask for the Lord's blessing for all our students and teachers.
Bring your students and teachers to church! Students, bring also your backpacks to be blessed.
Every other Tuesday, starting with an Akathist service at 7pm.

We are beginning to read a new book, "
The Religion of the Apostles" by Fr Stephen De Young.
This is one of the best sellers among Orthodox books at the moment. The book "presents the Orthodox Christian Church of today as a continuation of the religious life of the apostles, which in turn was a continuation of the life of the people of God since the beginning of creation."
We meet via Google Meet; therefore, reply to this email to get the meeting link.

Now we make offering to Him, not as though He stood in need of it, but rendering thanks for His gift, and thus sanctifying what has been created. For even as God does not need our possessions, so do we need to offer something to God.
- Saint Irenaeus of Lyons

Here is a great podcast for your teenager or young adult (and even for those who are a little and a lot older than teens).
The hosts read through a little known book of the Bible called Wisdom of Sirach. It is not well-known, but it is packed with practical advice. You can call it a "self-help book before self-help became a thing" kind of book. All advice is guaranteed to be biblical!
Perfect for your walk to class, your morning drive, or a Bible study with your OCF, this podcast offers practical advice for being faithful to God in any situation.
Little Falls is having a town-wide yard sale on Saturday, September 18, and we plan to have our Sunday School Rummage Sale on that day as well.
We ask everyone to help with the event. The plan is to set up September 11 after the Liturgy. We will also need volunteers for the day of the sale and for the clean up.
A signup sheet is posted in the narthex (vestibule) and an online signup is also available, and we ask you to contribute whatever time you can. We especially need manly men for the setup on Sept. 11.
If you have anything to donate for the garage sale, you can bring it to the Ed Center. Please do not drop anything off at church.
