If the hope of Christians were limited only to this life, it would rightly be reckoned a bitter lot to be parted from the body. But if we who love God regard the sundering of the soul from these bodily fetters as the beginning of our real life, why should we grieve like those who have no hope?
- Saint Basil the Great
Along with leading the choir, the job requirements also include regular choir rehearsals and working with children's choir in preparation for major Feastdays (Christmas, Pascha).

The position is paid (per service).

The primary service language is English. However, a basic knowledge of Church Slavonic/Russian is a plus.

If interested in the position, or for more information, please contact Father Aleksey at

We have seen the Lord

Christ appeared to His disciples and to many others after He rose from the dead, numerous times over the forty days leading up to His Ascension. What happened at those appearances? What was their purpose? And how do the Gospel writers understand what was happening? Fr. Stephen De Young and Fr. Andrew Stephen Damick explore the vision of the resurrected Jesus Christ.
