Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise;
his greatness no one can fathom.
Psalm 145:3
The LORD has established His throne in the heavens,
And His sovereignty rules over all.
Psalm 103:19

A Message from Pastor Tony

It might be more critical than ever that we remind ourselves what these scriptures are saying. No matter what does or does not  happen, good, bad or otherwise, God is worthy to be praised and he is sovereign all the time! We at Street Church Ministries hope this newsletter finds you and yours doing well.
As a result of the dark cloud that our country finds itself under, God has given our ministry countless opportunities to shine a light on Christ and be a source of love within Trenton.  In addition, He has caused our Ministry Team to enter into a new conversation with Him, one that goes beyond the surface, drawing us closer to His heart and nearer to His purposes for our lives.
Because of your faithful partnership, we have had the privilege of holding several outreaches within two apartment complexes on our block. Both were supplied with food, hygiene and sanitation supplies such as masks, gloves, soap and hand sanitizer.  We have also come alongside several struggling families and were able to meet some basic needs that most of us take for granted.

Last week we held the first of three summer Block Outreaches designed not only to provide food, clothing and other supplies but mainly to build trusting relationships with our neighbors.  There has recently been a lot of gun violence and death within our community and many people we have met have lost family members and have been allowing us to enter into their grief with them.  Also, we have been ministering in the local parks where we meet many hurting people who are looking for a glimmer of hope.  More than ever God has been showing us that hell will not overcome the Church if the Church has the passion and courage to live and love near the gates of hell.
In addition to our regular gatherings and outreaches we are also hoping to provide more services during daytime hours for the poor and transient within our area.  A place that would serve as a day center for people to come off the streets and avail themselves to services and activities that will equip and enhance their lives.  Please continue to seek God's favor concerning Street Church and Church on the Block.  We appreciate and honor your partnership with this ministry and commit ourselves to utilizing our resources with discernment and integrity.
Street Church Ministries is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit dedicated to seeing lives transformed by pouring out the life and love of Jesus to those living in crisis in Trenton, New Jersey.
