I hope you are all having a fantastic March so far. I can't believe we are nearly in April, I'm enjoying the recent spring weather and looking forward to this week's sunny forecast.

So much has happened already this month. We're so pleased with the turnout to the Gaia event at Parr Hall. As with the 'Museum of Moon' exhibition in 2019, Culture Warrington have once again facilitated an event that has brought thousands of visitors into our town centre from 6-10 March. The atmosphere in the town centre was overwhelming and one we have welcomed after the previous two years of uncertainty.

It's safe to say Gaia has definitely provoked thought around how we should look after our environment. It would be great to hear any thoughts from local businesses on your plans for greener growth within Warrington. 🌱🌎

Warrington's Own Buses

Well Warrington, let’s make a change together. It’s an exciting time to be travelling with so many places to visit and enjoy across the town, why not sit back, relax, and let your own local bus company take you there.
 
Warrington’s Own Buses have provided safe, clean, quality bus services for local people since 1902 and they are still going strong.
 
If you are over 66, you are eligible to travel by bus to the town centre and across Warrington free of charge.

Warrington Business Show

A live event for Warrington and beyond! Whether you’re coming along for the first time or you’re a seasoned pro and attending all of their events, welcome!

Hashtag Events are one of the UK and Ireland’s largest business event organisers. They deliver around 20 live face to face business shows a year and a similar number of virtual events.

They welcome around 12,000 unique attendees a year to their shows and over 1,600 companies have exhibited with them so far.

Safer Streets Warrington

#SaferStreets aims to address problematic behaviours across Warrington, with a particular focus on improving the feeling of safety and tackling violence against women and girls. 

Funded by the UK Home Office as part of their Safer Streets project, this local initiative is delivered in partnership with Cheshire Police, the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) for Cheshire, Warrington Borough Council, RASASC Cheshire and Merseyside, and local businesses and schools.

Andrea Morley - Project Manager

Andrea is our Digital Project Manager. Her role is to ensure smooth delivery of all BID marketing projects, paying special attention to town centre campaigns and events. She is also the chair of the BID Marketing & Events sub group.

Andrea is the jewel between clients and our service areas. She listens to feedback, finds new and improved ways of working and is great at building long lasting relationships that ultimately deliver success. Her networks are varied, valued and vast, she is definitely ‘our woman in the know!’

As a Warrington resident all her life, Andrea is passionate about giving back to her community. She is a trustee for Warrington Charities Trust and a trustee advisor for the Warrington Wolves Foundation. She is also an elected parish councillor for Great Sankey, where she is a resident.
