New Venue for Floating Earth 'Gaia' Unveiled

Artist Luke Jerram’s spectacular floating sculpture of Planet Earth has a new home when it lands in Warrington – Parr Hall.

Gaia, which accurately depicts the Earth’s surface as it would be viewed from space using detailed NASA imagery, was originally set to launch in Queens Gardens.

We All Deserve to Feel Safe Campaign

The #SaferStreets campaign, delivered in partnership between Cheshire Police, the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) for Cheshire, Warrington Borough Council, businesses and schools, will aim to address and tackle problematic behaviours through a visible campaign presence in and around the town centre. dedicated training and awareness sessions are also being delivered across Warrington’s high schools and colleges.

Cheshire Day

Cheshire Day is coming up on the 30th of March!

The main aim of the initiative is to raise the profile of Cheshire as a place to stay, work and play. Led by Marketing Cheshire, the day is an opportunity to promote everything local in Cheshire to both local and national audiences.

Warrington Youth Zone Taking Shape

Earlier this month Warrington Youth Zone put out an exciting update about the new Youth Zone that will be opening in Warrington. With fitness equipment, a climbing room and a dance studio we are very excited about the positive impact this will make on our town.
