Resurrection has established a special fund called Caring for Our Neighbors to address the needs in our community due to COVID-19. This effort is in addition to our ongoing food ministry. Learn how you can help. Contact: Church Office

Worship at Home

On Sunday (available by 6 a.m.), watch this special video quilt of RLC people leading us through our worship at home. Download the companion worship guide to enrich your worship – at whatever time you choose.

Learning at Home

We can’t be together in person. But we can learn together at home. Pre-K – 5th Grade: Download materials that include a portion of the Whirl curriculum used in Learning Hour classes. Youth (grades 6-12): Download the May 17 discussion starter, designed to dialog current events with discussion questions, reflections, and activities. Contact: Victoria Hoppes

Coffee Hour on Zoom

Either before or after watching the Sunday video quilt, gather with other RLC people for Coffee Hour via Zoom at 10 a.m. Chat, share, and hold each other in love – all while we remain at home. Click to join us at 10 a.m. If prompted, Meeting ID: 270 496 992 and Password: 419422

FaithBuilders & Youth Group End of Year Gatherings

Gather on Zoom for our final school-year gatherings: Youth Group meets Saturday, May 16 at 6:30 p.m. and FaithBuilders meets Sunday, May 17 at 6:30 p.m. We’ll try to solve a variety of virtual escape rooms and talk about how we might continue to connect over the summer. To join via Zoom, contact Victoria Hoppes.

COVID-19 Update: In-Person Worship Plans

As some of the restrictions brought on by the COVID-19 outbreak in Indiana begin to lift, we want to communicate our current plans for congregational life and a future return to in-person worship at RLC. Contact: Church Office
Thursday, May 7, Pastor Mitch dropped off the balance of our Weekender food inventory and a check for $4,400 - the balance of RLC’s Weekender budget for the year – at Southport High School. By partnering with Gleaners and Perry Township, RLC will help provide more than 15,000 meals to hungry local families. Contact: Julie Jessee

At-Home Graduation Blessing

This is the season when students of all ages mark graduation milestones. While we cannot celebrate with our students in-person, RLC is providing an at-home graduation blessing for households. Use this guide to share memories, pray for, and bless the next steps of all graduates in your household. Contact: Victoria Hoppes

Celebrating Youth Group Graduates

RLC people came together to honor our class of 2020 high school graduates with baskets filled with gifts, cards, and notes. Households "adopted a senior" and completed porch drops with snacks, treats, and gifts. As graduates prepare to celebrate accomplishments in non-traditional ways, these surprises are a reminder that they are loved and in our prayers. Contact: Victoria Hoppes

Bread for the World Thanks You

Thank you to all of the Resurrection people who wrote for this year's Offering of Letters! In spite of the COVID-19 disruption, we collected 208 letters which are being delivered to our Senators and Representatives. Bread for the World's efforts will benefit from your advocacy.

Indy Pride Parade 2020 Canceled

The 2020 Indy Pride Parade has been canceled in the interest of public health safety. The Indy Pride festival will pivot to a virtual celebration scheduled for Saturday, June 20. Visit or follow Indy Pride on social media for regular updates to virtual Pride month events. We look forward to participating in the 2021 parade. Contact: Julie Jessee
Resurrection is committed to adapting to the needs of these challenging times, and we're excited about keeping our ministries relevant and strong in the year ahead! The generosity of each RLC household is the sole income that drives all of our daily ministry. It’s our earnest hope that we can count on your spirit and faithful giving. If you have not already done so, please pledge online now.
