Learning at Home

Although we cannot meet in person, learning together can still happen at home! Pre-K through fifth grade: Download materials from our online folder that includes a portion of the Whirl curriculum used in Learning Hour classes. Youth (grades six through 12): Download the March 29 discussion starter from the ELCA, designed to dialog current events with Sunday’s Gospel text. Includes discussion questions, reflections, and activities. Contact: Victoria Hoppes

The Wired Word on Zoom

Pastor Ryan leads a Wired Word discussion via Zoom on Monday evenings at 7 p.m. This is one of our regular faith formation opportunities for adults that transitions to an online format very easily. We take topics from current events and connect them with faith and scripture. There is certainly plenty to discuss! For details on joining the Zoom meeting, contact Pastor Ryan

Live-Streaming Prayer on Facebook with Pastor Ryan

Pastor Ryan is leading morning, noon, evening, and night prayer via Facebook Live. Some may know this as the Daily Office – a tradition that has always been available to us but can be a real gift during this time of isolation and instability. Join Pastor Ryan on Facebook for prayer at 8 a.m., noon, 6 p.m. or 9 p.m. EST.

FaithBuilders & Youth Group Zoom Session

All students in FaithBuilders and Youth Group are invited to participate in a joint Zoom session on Sunday, April 5 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. We’ll check in with each other, talk about what’s going on, and end our night together in prayer. For details on joining the Zoom session, contact Victoria Hoppes

Bread for the World Offering of Letters Continues

Add your voice to RLC’s Bread for the World Offering of Letters. Download letter templates and instructions for writing your congressional leaders. Print and complete the letters at home, then return them by mail to Resurrection before Sunday, April 19. Contact: Jana Forster

Support Local Hunger Partners

Due to COVID-19, RLC’s Food Pantry ministry is not currently collecting donations. Learn how you can support the work of our local hunger partners, dedicated to addressing hunger needs throughout Indianapolis. Contact Julie Jessee
Thanks to relaxed Health Department restrictions, our free Friday Community Meals ministry continues to provide 100% carry-out meals. We operate with a minimal crew, and all items are served curbside in single-serve containers. On Fridays from 5:30 – 7 p.m. we will distribute one to-go meal and drink per person. People may come back for seconds after 6:30 p.m., once the initial group has been served.
