A few weeks back, we set up a table at our local farmer’s market, handed out free hot drinks, and offered free encouragement and prayer.
The very first guy to our booth was a real shocker. Whatever we offered he accepted—hot tea, prayer, encouragement—he wanted it all. But then he asked, “do you have anything for me to read?”
I wasn’t quite expecting that, but thankfully our friend Jeff had brought along a few “Steps to Peace with God” tracts, so we offered him one of those and he gladly accepted.
But, it got me thinking. Boulder is a city that loves anything “from and for Boulder,” so why not create a simple Gospel tract, written in our voice, that we can give away to not only help people understand who we are as a new church in Boulder, but also give an explanation of the Gospel message?”
