Hello from PJ Library Winnipeg, proud implementing partner for PJ Library in the Winnipeg area. This is Florencia and Abby with your November update!

We were thrilled to welcome close to 30 tweens making hamsas out of polymer clay last Sunday at our Hamsa Art Workshop. Kids also came up with great ideas on how to bring friends together in Jewish ways with the Get Togethers!

Dozens of families in Winnipeg have applied and hosted Get Togethers and so can you! Read below to find out more!

  • Here’s a peek at the wonderful books being mailed to PJ Library subscribers from ages 0-8 this month.
     
  • PJ Our Way kids have until the 10th of the month to log in and choose their next middle-grade book or graphic novel.
     
  • Sigd begins at sundown on Tuesday, November 22. Learn more about this beautiful Jewish holiday that originated in the Beta Israel community of Ethiopia.
     
  • As the page turns to November in our calendars, we’re reminded to give thanks. PJ Library gives thanks to you and also gives this list of books to inspire gratitude in younger children.
     
  • New audio adventures for older kids will begin on November 18 when the PJ Library Presents podcast network launches season 2 of Beyond the Bookcase. Littler ones can already cuddle up with sweet stories in a new season of Afternoons with Mimi.
