Annual General Election Meeting

The election will be held at this meeting for open board positions. If you are interested in being on the board, please send an email to Wendy Wofford at nominations@slananm.org.
You must be a current member in order to serve on the board or vote in the election. If you are not sure of your membership status, please send an email to contact@slananm.org.
We also hope to have an update on alcohol sales and possession at Los Altos Park, and would like to hear your ideas for the neighborhood in 2022.
Little Library at Daniel Webster Park
The little library at Daniel Webster Park is back thanks to the efforts of Tim West. This is the third time Tim rebuilt it after extensive vandalism. Thank you Tim!
Zero fares pilot program for public transit
During 2022, passengers will not have to pay to ride Sun Van, ART and ABQ RIDE.

International District Library
This beautiful new library, currently under construction at 7605 Central Ave. NE, will be easy for many in our neighborhood to access by public transit.

Call 311
If you see issues that need to be addressed such as graffiti or abandoned vehicles, consider calling 311. You can remain anonymous and do not need to give your email address, name, or phone number when you call unless you want to.
A special shout-out to the City of Albuquerque's graffiti removal team! They are very efficient, usually covering graffiti the same day and often within a couple of hours.
