In today’s Digest, our Mental Health and Psychosocial Expert, Gaia Quaranta, shares with Le Monde the importance of psychosocial support for returnees and how it can help them find their way back in their community (Côte d'Ivoire). In Burkina Faso, more than 2,000 youths participated in a slam competition organized as part of the "Faso Nooma" (Faso is good) campaign on the risks and alternatives to irregular migration. In Guinea, Moussa and Soriba share with us the challenges of setting up a watermelon business upon return. In Ghana, IOM meet with 16 Civil Society Organisations to best engage with communities in migration-prone areas across the country. In Nigeria, IOM and partners organized the first-ever concert for safe migration and social cohesion in Benin City.
