National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage increases
The National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage rates will increase on 1st April 2021.
In addition to the new rates, the age from which workers become eligible for the National Living Wage will be lowered. From 1st April all workers aged 23 and over must be paid the National Living Wage or above.
Here are the new rates.
Apprentice Will be increasing to £4.30
Under 18
Will be increasing to £4.62
Aged 18-20
Will be increasing to £6.56
Aged 21-22
This new age bracket will be £8.36
Aged 23 and over
The National Living wage is now £8.91
