Failing w/ Purpose

Hi, <<First Name>>.

I totally bombed a couple of weeks ago and it still stings a little.

You see, I was trying to mint my very first NFT...or a collection of NFTs. Words like: Blockchain, Ethereum, Gas Fees and OpenSea were added to my vocabulary after lots of research and YouTube videos. And after spending nearly 4 hours diving head first into NFTs, I realized I had failed. I felt foolish and bad for being a poor steward of time. And at the time, I needed to move on.

However, that's just a normal part of the creative process. I think it's kinda beautiful. And the truth is, I didn't truly give up. I just needed to pause for a bit and refocus. I'll keep you updated on my NFT dreams.

Giving students opportunities to take chances, without the fear of bad grades or classroom shame is where the magic really takes place. Thanks for #TeachingThingsThatCantBeGoogled.

Creation > Consumption

Cheers,
Brian
