Attending Mass at Lourdes was made easier than ever with hand sanitizing at the main entrance, with a capacity of 30% of our main church, and our parish hall.  The social distance of 6 feet between parishioners and with wearing a mask we are all protected.

Our church is sanitized after each Mass, so if you would like to volunteer please meet at the work sacristy which is located behind Mary's altar.

Saturday 7:00 p.m. and Sunday at 9:00 a.m. Mass is broadcast live into our parish hall.

Sunday 11:00 a.m. Mass is broadcast and streamed live to Facebook.
( please note no parishioners are seen in our broadcast and live-streamed Masses. )
This Thanksgiving,

As satisfying as a warm plate of roast turkey might be, nothing fills the heart up more on Thanksgiving than a newfound sense of gratitude and appreciation. While that tenderness can stem from reminiscing with loved ones over a bountiful feast, it can also arise from giving back. If you're seeking meaningful ways to volunteer and/or donate over this holiday, here are a few ideas on how to get involved.
-Contact the parish office if you know of someone that would be in need of a Thanksgiving dinner  (519) 886 0342 ext. 3
-Make phone calls to parish shut-ins
-Deliver Thanksgiving meals to our parishioners  (Oct 10, 2020, 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.)
-Donate to this program “Giving Back”

NEW START DATE October 13th - Church Parking Lot will be Closed -
Thank you for Understanding

Dear Parishioners,
On Monday, October 13, 2020, here at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, we will start the construction project to replace our main church roof.
This construction will allow us to finally be able to replace our main church roof which has been made possible through your generous donations to the One Heart One Soul Campaign.

This will require us for safety to have the back parking lot closed for the duration of the project 4-6 weeks depending on the weather.
As well the roofing company will place a construction fence between the school and the church for the safety of the students during recesses.
Please note that the parking lot will be closed, from Monday - Friday for daily Masses.  We ask you for your patience and cooperation in parking on Roslin Ave or Lourdes Street.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause anyone, but safety is the most important.
With prayers,
Our Lady of Lourdes Parish
🦃Virtual Thanksgiving Food Drive🦃
OLOL families,
We are hoping to continue our tradition of supporting families in need with our annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. However, due to COVID 19, we are not collecting food items, but are inviting families to donate a monetary amount. All funds will be donated to St. Vincent de Paul Food Cupboard. Please make out cheques to SVDP and place it in the collection basket.
Many thanks for your generosity.
We mourn those who have gone before us in death
and continue with us in the Communion of Saints.

Eternal rest grant unto them O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. Amen.
IN HOPE OF THE RESURRECTION:  In our Catholic tradition, November is set aside as a month dedicated to the Souls in Purgatory.  It is a time for us to reflect on our lives as a pilgrim journey to the Lord, as well as an opportunity to prayerfully remember our loved ones and friends who have gone before us.  As a parish, we will highlight this month of grace by preparing a book entitled “In Hope of the Resurrection” into which will be placed the names of our departed family members and friends.  This memorial book will be enshrined before the altar throughout the month of November and the recorded names will be remembered daily during the Mass.  A special sheet on which to record the names of those you wish to remember will be available that the back of the church this weekend.  Please complete the forms and return to the church next weekend. A special box for the page will be at each entrance to the church.

or Click the link below and print the form, the completed forms can be emailed to the parish office

Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Living Rosary
Our Lady of Lourdes Small Faith Group invites you to join its members in praying the living rosary for the needs of the parish and the community.  For the month of October, we are praying for
  • our scientific and medical community. May God, the Lord of Wisdom, give them knowledge and wisdom so that they may have a better understanding of the disease mechanism and may develop medical breakthroughs to counter the effects of the Coronavirus in our lives.
In addition, we will keep in our prayers
  • the Pope’s monthly intention-The Laity’s Mission in the Church,
  • the sick and their caregivers, and
  • the living and deceased members of our parish.
By volunteering, you will be responsible to say one decade of the mystery of the Rosary every day for the coming month.  If you are interested, please sign-up here.
You’re invited!  Since May this year, members of the small faith group have been meeting online. The group is currently meeting twice a month, on the second and fourth Wednesdays from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM.  We are eager to have a few more parishioners joining us to pray and reflect on the Gospel together.
