THE WEEK OF PRAYER FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY is traditionally celebrated January 18th-25th, which, this year, is in the middle of a pandemic lockdown. The Biblical Text for 2021 is John 15:1-17. The theme, taken from that passage is: Abide in my love and you shall bear much fruit (John 15:5-9). The Monastic Community of Grandchamp prepared the texts. Each day focuses on a specific theme taken from the Biblical Text. See http://www.christianunity.va/content/unitacristiani/en.html
For Christian Unity:
that we who are the Temple of God and Body of Christ may grow in our understanding of each other and cooperate in announcing God’s love and forgiveness as we work to overcome evil and injustice.
We pray.

WHY@Breakfast invites you to an online presentation
“Full of Grace,”
fingering the beads
on Saturday, February 6th, 2021, from 9:30 AM to 11 AM.
Our speaker, Sister Eileen Power, CND, will share her insights on how to relate the rhythm and the focus of each mystery of the rosary to our own lives during her presentation. Sister Eileen Power has over 30 years of teaching experience with the Toronto Separate School Board. Since her retirement as a teacher, Sister Eileen has been offering retreats and facilitating programs for high school chaplains and the wider community. In recent years, Sister Eileen provides spiritual direction to those who wish to seek God with a spiritual companion. The online presentation will be delivered via Zoom. As we look forward to the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes and the World Day of the Sick, let us take this opportunity to rediscover the healing power of praying the rosary. Join us on February 6th and gain new perspective on praying the rosary and get excited in picking up the prayer beads! Please register via the following link.
REGISTRATION FOR FEB 6th WHY@BREAKFAST
Registration for the presentation is free, but you may wish to consider donating to your favourite charity. You may also find additional information and may register through the website https://whyatbreakfast.com.
