YOUTH JOBS AT SKEENA DIVERSITY Skeena Diversity si excited to be looking for motivated. creative youth for the summer, and beyond thanks to the Canada Summer Jobs Project. We are able to hire two youth for a full-time or part-time positions (depending on your availability and project timing).
Who can apply:
Youth between age 15 and 30
Canadian citizens or permanent residents (sorry, international students are not eligible)
Positions: Special Events & Youth Engagement Coordinator
Working on intercultural activities to help celebrate the Society's 20th anniversary to promote unity in diversity – delivered primarily online
Youth engagement through a filmmaking project
Researching anti-racism resources, participating in discussions and community dialogue
marketing through social media - youth and community engagement
Public Relations Coordinator & Sustainable Development Goals
Become familiar with the Sustainable Development Goals
Provide support to the Group 17 workplan
Conduct research on SDGs and their implementation
Develop a presentation to engage youth
Promote SDGs at online events such as virtual block party
development of toolkit boxes for each goal
Assist in development of public education materials and its distribution
