1. Where is the BBQ? We have a number of church members and volunteers who have graciously opened up their homes for us to gather in small pax of 5-6 men at each home. More details for hosts below.

2. What's the cost? The event is free to attend.

3. I'm interested in hosting. Do I have to buy dinner for my 5 guests? No, IBC is reimbursing up to $30 per pax for your hosting expenses. Submit your receipt and photo of your event to Freddy Yap and we will make sure you're reimbursed!

4. I'm interested in hosting but don't have the space. What should I do? Please contact Freddy Yap at and we will connect you with a venue.

5. Do I have to serve meat/BBQ? No. Any cuisine is good! The purpose of the event is to connect with one another and share a meal. Additionally, some hosts do not have facilities to BBQ. You can cook or you can order! Either way, all hosts will receive reimbursement of up to $30 per pax for costs incurred.

6. What else do I need to do to host? First of all, register! You will then be contacted by Men's Ministry Leadership to confirm which guests would come to your place. All hosts need to provide is a space to meet (your own apartment, function room). A portion of the evening will be spent on zoom, so a device to connect with is required.

7. Do my guests have to be IBC members? No. You may invite anyone you like. The point is to minister to our brothers and share Christ's love. Please invite your friends, neighbours, and colleagues. Let us know who they are and how many are attending. Sign up with the link:  BBQ Registration 2022

8. What is the schedule? Invite your guests over around 11.45am-12pm or 6:45-7pm. We will start our zoom meeting at 11.45am or 7:15pm (approx 40 mins). The rest of the evening is yours to eat, socialize, and get to know one another. Our zoom meeting will include what Men's Ministry is about, a short message on the importance of relationship in line with Kingdom Community from Pastors Rodney or Kwan, and an invitation for prayer.
