With the uncertainty surrounding the Riverside County Public Health Department public health emergency for the Coachella Valley, the Safe Schools Desert Cities Board has decided to cancel the Pride Prom scheduled for May 8, 2020, and the Pride in the Pines Leadership Camp scheduled for May 22-25, 2020.
The move to cancel both events is due to concerns of mass gatherings and large community events surrounding the coronavirus spread and the safety of the participants, attendees, advisors, volunteers and board members.
We appreciate your understanding and support of Safe Schools. Please plan to be with us for Prom and Camp in 2021.
