September 2020

Hello <<First Name>>,

We hope everyone has been doing well and that you continue to stay safe and well!

The countdown for World Pancreatic Cancer Day is now on! The biggest day of the year for fulfilling our mission is just over
two months away and we are so excited to begin sharing materials and guidance for our 2020 campaign. We had a fantastic 2020 WPCD Campaign Preview on September 15th and recorded the virtual meeting if you'd like to check it out. Information and resources provided below.

This has been a year of great uncertainty and we are continuously amazed by the strides of our coalition and by other organizations fighting to bring awareness and change to the world of pancreatic cancer. Thank you everyone, for your incredible efforts during this time and in the times to come. This year's World Pancreatic Cancer Day will be more important than ever and we couldn't do it without you.

MEMBER HIGHLIGHT: Asociación Cáncer de Páncreas (ACANPAN)
For the fifth consecutive year, the Pancreatic Cancer Association (ACANPAN) and the Spanish Pancreatology Association (AESPANC) announce the Carmen Delgado / Miguel Pérez-Mateo Research Grants against pancreatic cancer.
Asociación Cáncer de Páncreas was founded in January 2015 from the experience of two patients, Carmen and Olga. This association promotes activities that encourage Pancreatic Cancer research and inform and support patients and their families. The bulk of their funds go to research against Pancreatic Cancer through the different grants they award each year. This year they are offering two grants of 97.500€ for clinical and basic research projects.
